San Antonio Hermann Sons Medal
The San Antonio Hermann Sons Home Association is a group of 8 Hermann Sons lodges who played a significant role in San Antonio's downtown history and are still active. This year's medal represents the ribbon name tags members wore with pride in the early 1900s. Since 1911, the Home Association's historic building has been a vibrant hub for community events and cultural traditions. The medals support the preservation and enhancement of this cherished landmark, including the Rathskeller Bar- proudly holding Texas' oldest continuously held beer and wine license- as well as the ballroom, and future projects in the bowling alley and rooftop garden.
